Indian Golfers Manu Gandas and Gaganjeet Bhullar shine in recent Tournaments
Indian golfers Manu Gandas and Gaganjeet Bhullar have showcased impressive performances in recent tournaments. Gandas secured a T-60 finish at the D+D REAL Czech Masters, while Bhullar achieved fifth place at the St. Andrews Bay Championship. Their achievements underscore India's presence and prowess in the international golfing scene.
Manu Gandas' performance at Czech Masters
Indian golfer Manu Gandas displayed a strong performance in the D+D REAL Czech Masters, a DP World Tour event, by carding a bogey-free 4-under 68 on the final day. His four-day journey included rounds of 66, 74, 74, and 68, placing him at T-60 in the overall standings. This accomplishment is notable considering Gandas earned his spot in the DP World Tour by securing the Indian PGTI Tour Order of Merit title last season. Currently, he stands 179th on the Order of Merit, requiring a Top-115 finish to maintain a full card for next year's tournaments.
Shubhankar Sharma's pursuit of Top-50
Another Indian golfer, Shubhankar Sharma, who opted to sit out this week's event, has participated in 16 events this season. He is striving to secure a position in the Top-50 rankings, which would grant him entry into the prestigious DP World Tour Championships scheduled in Dubai this November.
Gaganjeet Bhullar's Impressive Result
Indian golfer Gaganjeet Bhullar achieved his best performance of the season, clinching the fifth spot at the inaugural St. Andrews Bay Championship. Bhullar finished the week at 17-under, shooting a commendable 2-under 70 in the final round. He remained in contention with the leaders for a major portion of the tournament, but unfortunately, his quest for a title fell short.
